á At the Jan 10th board meeting, CASHE reorganized officially as a Non-profit 501c4. CASHE can lobby on behalf of Health teachers and accept donations from individuals and organizations; just the contributions are not tax deductable. New elected officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Member at Large were installed and are planning our fall conference for Fall 2009 at the beautiful Lake Arrowhead (UCLA) Conference Center. Please submit your $50.00 renewal fee and registration form to CASHE as soon as possible so you can be counted officially in our reorganized organization!

á Our 2008 conference was canceled due concern of teachers securing funding and substitutes for the conference. The CASHE board of directors recognizes that these are difficult times, especially for many of us as teachers. Schools are cutting many funds, but we strive to help promote health education for all our colleagues and kids.

with fireplace and excellent meals? Would you put down a non-refundable deposit
of $100.00 by June 15th? Please respond ASAP because we have to place deposits
to the center. Subs wonÕt be required since we will start on Friday PM
